SUMMER HAS ARRIVED 2010
Well at last it is July. Haven't we had a fabulous spell of weather? Guests have been barbequeing regularily and enjoying the peace and tranquility of the warm evenings. July and August promise more of the same and I for one am looking forward to lying on the beach and gentle evening strolls along the promenade. Some of our guests who are visiting Northern Ireland for the first time have been amazed at the scenery and the warmth of the people and say they are definately coming back next year, in fact one family who visited in the spring have already booked for this September. Dolphins and Gannets have been entertaining us regularily lately, the terns have returned and there is something magical on a calm Summer night about watching the black guillemots fishing out in the bay. Plans have been passed and the money secured, enabling the village committee to build a community facility which will incorporate a shop and post office - all hopefully to be started very soon. A stroll along the promenade on a summer evening to get an ice cream is a real treat. Do ring me if you would like a short break in July and August -. if I have space I will let you know. Where better to enjoy a little peace and tranquility than at our beautiful apartments.in Ballygally. We have decided not to pass the VAT increase on to you this year which makes a stay here even more attractive. Even better for the golfers amost you is the complimentary round of golf available to guests at Cairndhu golf course. Just get in touch and I will discuss your accommodation requirements and I look forward to meeting you aoon. Best wishes, Jennifer Riley (Manager)

LARNE BOROUGH BUSINESS AWARDS - 23rd October 2009
At a gala dinner in the Ballygally Castle Hotel on the 23rd October, Ballygally Holiday Apartments certainly caught the eye of the judges' when they won the Larne Borough Business Awards 'Tourist Project of the year 2009' During the year we worked very closely with local Tourist Providers, Carnfunnock Country Park, Glenarm Castle and Cairndhu Golf Club to name but a few. We wanted to enhance our visitors experience to the area and to promote the beauty of the beautiful Antrim Coast Road and Causeway Coastal Route. The Sunday Times voted this route one of the best routes for Driving Holidays. We were so pleased to have this work recognised and to have yet another award plaque to hang in our reception!! Have a look at our 'Gallery' page to see more photos of the event.

Every year we try to find a locally made novelty item to amuse our guests. In 2009 we found a firm in Holywood who were baking the most fantastic cup cakes and we intend to present these to our guests on special occasions throughout the year starting with Valentines Day.
