Walk the Glens Festival, Cushendall

From local heritage walks for the novice to the more challenging mountain treks for the serious walker. All walks through the breathtakingly beautiful Glens of Antrim are led by experienced local guides, helping to guarantee a weekend of walks, culture and craic for everyone.       International Fencing Tournament

      Carrickfergus, 7th - 8th June 08

      The Carrick Castle Tournament has the reputation of being a great fun and friendly event held in the spectacular surroundings of a Medieval Castle - what better venue for a fencing tournament.

      Last years saw competitors from clubs from England, Scotland, Ireland and Spain as well as many local clubs and the winners were all presented with ceremonial swords, a fantastic prize to take home.

        The 18th Annual Heart of the Glens Festival. This year's nine day fun filled festival includes activities to suit all ages including: Teddy Bear Picnic's, Luirg Run, Various Walks around the Glens, Family Fun Vintage Day, Busking and Food Festival and much, much more.

        This year promises to provide great craic and entertainment for all the family and no Heart of the Glens Festival would be complete without the longest Waves of Tory' in Ireland and Street Ceili Night.
