The Titanic Festival- 2012
Belfast's most famous ship, Titanic will be commemorated in a Festival commencing 31st March to 31st May 2012. Events will range from World class public events through to commemoration services. CARNFUNNOCK COUNTRY PARK 2012
Carnfunnock Country Park - just a mile from the apartments- is hosting their usual variety of exciting events this Summer. From Birds of Prey displays, band concerts, to an outdoor production of 'Sense and Sensibility on the 21st July. HILLSBOROUGH OYSTER FESTIVAL -6th - 9th September, 2012
Here in Ireland we are lucky to have the best oysters along our shores and our oyster festivals have become major tourist attractions both here and accross the water. In Co. Down you can join the fun at the 18th annual Hillsborough Oyster Festival - live entertainment, gala ball, the oyster eating championship and much more - a great day out in the heart of the Mourne Mountains.

The Dalriada Festival is a major event sponsored by P & O and was held in 2011 for the 1st time. the outdoor concerts were magnificent and 2012 promises to be even better. RSPB Reserves in Northern Ireland
If birds are your thing, Northern Ireland is the place to come and visit. Rathlin Island has one of the largest sea bird colonys in the British Isles and is home to the Rathlin puffins. Even the very rare corncrake has made an appearance here in recent years and choughs are often to be seen. The North West 200 motorbike road race is Ireland's largest outdoor sporting event and as usual takes place on the legendary triangle between Portrush, Portstewart and Coleraine.
